Child Abuse Prevention Month Events

Hey there! As we shine a spotlight on Child Abuse Prevention this month, we wanted to make sure you were in the know about some upcoming events. Let's come together to raise awareness and support for our little ones who deserve a safe and nurturing environment. So, let's join forces and show our commitment to ending child abuse once and for all. Together, we can create a future where every child grows up feeling loved and protected. If you have any questions about the events this month, please contact the Family Advocacy Program at +1 (706) 545-3202 or +1 (706) 545-4013.

These kits provide a valuable resource for parents in case of emergencies, enabling them to share their child’s identifying information quickly and accurately with law enforcement. The Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division recommends parents and guardians update their child’s information whenever necessary and replace the child’s photograph in the kit every 6 months, or at least once a year when their child is photographed for school.
