Are you an avid hunter or fisherman?  Are you NEW to hunting or fishing and don’t have all the information you need, such as the Garrisons regulations for hunting, fishing, weapons regulations, and other recreational opportunities on Fort Moore?

Join Outdoor Recreation for their annual Hunting, Fishing and Recreation Open House on August 15 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the 1918 Club in the Ballroom. The Hunting Season is just around the corner!

This event is free and fun for the whole family, and it’s definitely a must for outdoorsmen who need the latest information on hunting, fishing and weapons regulations. Meet local businesses and vendors of the Recreation, Hunting and Fishing Community and gather the newest information while enjoying light refreshments.

Schedule of events:

  • 5 – 6 p.m.: Participants will be able to meet and engage with vendors and experts from Outdoor Recreation and the Fort Moore Conservation Branch while enjoying free refreshments; free food and beverages are available.
  • 6 – 7 p.m.: Programs and Organizations present information/updates/changes to regulations about hunting and fishing on Fort Moore, to include weapons regulations.

Vendor information: Local businesses/Vendors of the Recreation, Hunting and Fishing Community.  Interested in trading or swapping any hunting or fishing gear you don’t use anymore or purchasing used gear that may be interesting to you? Visit the Hunter’s Gear Swap before you attend the Hunting, Fishing & Recreation Open House! August 15, 4 – 7 p.m., happening at the 1918 Club at the Ballroom right before and during the event!
