24/7 Access Gyms

24/7 Sign-Up

So, how does it work?

  1. Stop by Smith Gym or Whittington High Performance Center and fill out a 24/7 agreement form and do a walk through / orientation on the 24/7 rules. We advise that you allow at least 30 minutes to complete the registration and walk-through process.
  2. Receive your access card
  3. 24/7 access: granted

We know that being a TRADOC installation means that the schedules of many of our patrons vary greatly, so we’re excited to enhance soldier readiness - day or night.

NOTE: In the near future, your CAC or DoD ID card will work as your access card, but it will need to be registered in RecTrac during normal business hours. Stop by Smith Gym for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I register for an access card?  Stop by Smith Gym  or Whittington High Performance Center and fill out a 24/7 agreement form and do a walk through / orientation on 24/7 rules. This is not a quick process, so patrons will need to allow at least 30 minutes to complete the registration. You will be put into the system and given an access card that allows access to the facility when it is closed.

NOTE: In the near future, your CAC or DoD ID card will work as your access card, but it will need to be registered during normal business hours.
What is off limits / closed?  There are several areas that are blocked off during 24/7 access and these will be shown during the initial orientation.
Is there a fee?  24/7 access is free, but there is a $5 fee to replace a lost card.
What can revoke 24/7 access privileges?  All of the guidelines for using the facility after hours will be discussed during orientation, but the big three rules that can revoke access are allowing others in that are not registered, stealing equipment and any destructive behavior to the facility or its equipment. This will not only revoke 24/7 access privileges, but it will also revoke use of any MWR fitness facilities on Fort Benning.

How do you know who breaks the rules?  There is a 24/7 video recording of all areas of the gym. This footage is reviewed. Anyone breaking any of the rules will lose all gym privileges, not just 24/7 privileges.
