Teen Dating Violence Class: Scarf It

#
Note: This event has already passed.

February is National “Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month” (TDVAM).

Each year in February, programs and resources unite across the country in effort to raise awareness about healthy relationships in teen dating.

The Family Advocacy Program invites all 9th–12th graders to join them at the Middle School and Teen Center on Saturday, February 17 from 1:30–3:30 p.m. for "Scarf It"! This is a fun team-building exercise where participants use broken pieces of clothing to dress a mannequin, representing how an individual can overcome challenges. The final result is a unique work of art that celebrates the strength and resilience of the team. Register for this free event no later than February 16th by calling +1 (706) 545-3070 or +1 (706) 545-0522 or you can register in person at MST, building 1055.
