Spooktacular Campout

Calling all professional & first time Campers!  By high demand MWR Outdoor Recreation’s very popular Kings Pond Campout is finally back!  Grab your costumes and camping gear, we are hosting our ‘Spooktacular Campout’ for the entire family!

Experience the beauty of King's Pond with all it’s outdoor amenities. We will start the fun on October 7 at 4 p.m., get ready for kayaking, paddle boards, games, movie, music, a bonfire and more. The Milton E. Long Library will be participating and hosts their amazing Storytime. Stay with us for just the afternoon/evening – or bring your own food and camping supplies to stay overnight; we offer kayaking on Sunday morning from 8 – 11 a.m.!

Space is limited and available for ID cardholders only. Don’t have camping equipment? No problem! The Equipment Resource Center has you covered for all of your camping needs.

We top this great event with an amazing offer: if you rent camping gear with us and register in advance, we will offer you 50% off (discount applies only for camping gear rental).  Kings Pond Spooktacular Campout is free for all participants, registration is highly encouraged but not required. Camping Rules:

• Primitive Camping ONLY
• Fire pits may not be left unattended.
• No cutting of any trees for firewood permitted.
• All trash must be removed after the event.
• All dogs must be on a leash.

FOOD:

• Participants are responsible for their own meals.
• Outdoor Recreation will provide a light snack in the morning of the 8th for all overnight campers!
