Honor and Remember!

Join us for the annual Murph Challenge on Fort Moore, May 18, at Doughboy Stadium, following the Run to Remember 5K run, starting around 8:30 a.m.! The Murph Challenge is more than just a workout. It is a tradition that helps push us, humble us, and allows us the opportunity to dedicate a bit of pain and sweat to honor LT. Michael P. Murphy (SEAL), a man who sacrificed everything he had for our freedom. Join us this year as we continue to help keep his legacy alive through The Murph Challenge campaign. Simply stay after completing the 5K run or head over to Doughboy Stadium to participate in this year’s Murph Challenge with a 1 mile run, 100 pullups, 200 pushups, 300 squats and another 1 mile run at the end all while wearing a 20 lb. weight vest or body armor. Participants are asked to visit www.TheMurphChallenge.com and submit their 'MURPH' time to compare their achievement with other participants worldwide. The Murph Challenge is free and open to everyone to participate, no registration required.

New this year: Fort Moore Sports, Fitness and Aquatics offers to complete the Murph Challenge on your own between May 1 – 31; register at the front desk at Smith Fitness Center and complete the entire Murph Challenge by yourself, turn in your result and receive a commemorative participation gift. It’s free to attend!
