Hunter Zero Day + Hunter Gear Swap

#
Note: This event has already passed.

Hunting season is almost here! Join us at the Recreational Shooting Complex on September 9th for our Hunter’s Zero Day, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Enjoy a FREE day use of the range and zeroing your weapons before hunting season starts! Need help? AMU members will be available to assist you with zeroing your weapons!

  • Registration of firearms with Fort Moore’s Military Police (Building 215 on Wold Avenue) is required before a weapon is brought onto post. This document must be kept with the firearm at all times. Visitors and members must review range rules and sign waiver before utilizing ranges.

Also, don’t forget to check out our other event going on the same day, Hunter’s Gear Swap from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. If you’re looking to sell or trade any of your hunting gear, this is the perfect opportunity to do so (firearms are excluded from the swap)! This is essentially a flea market for hunters and a great way to save money on gear you might not be using anymore. Tables will be $10 each for those wanting to sell their gear and that includes two chairs. Even if you’re not interested in selling any hunting gear, this event is free to attend so come out and see what others are selling and talk with other hunters about trading. You never know what kind of gear you’ll come across! We will set up and designate tables for hunters who register. Please register by September 7th at the Recreational Shooting Complex bldg. 2975.
