Help the Hooch

#
Note: This event has already passed.

The event has been moved to October 11.

The ‘Hooch needs your help!  Join MWR Outdoor Recreation and Fort Moore’s Clean Water Program for the annual River cleanup ‘Help The Hooch’, sponsored by Johns Manville, on October 11 (updated date) from 9 – 11 a.m. and make a positive impact on our ecosystem and watershed; all participants will be invited to lunch after we successfully cleaned up the Hooch.

Just a few hours of your time can make a lifetime of difference in our water quality and environmental health.  Volunteers will meet their site captains at their assigned sites to cleanup and receive their safety briefing. You are welcome to bring your own boat!  Join your community and assist in cleaning up our rivers, streams, ponds, and watershed.

Sign-up for the event will open on August 15 and close on September 23.  Sign up here!
