The Exceptional Family Member Program invites all EFMP families to attend Special Connections, featuring the SPED Preschool Program with Special Education Instructional Systems Specialist, Dr. Shunda S. Johnson, on January 11 at the Indianhead Village Community Center from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Special Connections serves as a workshop for EFMP families and is designed for families to learn about different community programs, receive guidance, connect with each other, and ask questions. During this Special Connections, the importance of early intervention will be the highlight. Dr. Johnson will talk about the need for individualized services for a child and advocating for your child during the early developmental stages. All EFMP families at Fort Moore and surrounding areas are welcome to attend.
