The Financial Readiness Program offers a free ‘Identity Theft and Scam: Prevention to Recovery’ class. Did you know that it takes an average of six months and 200 hours of work to recover from identity theft? Learn how to protect yourself from identity theft, and how to complete the recovery process if it happens to you. Many families are experiencing significant financial challenges due to our current economic situation and the proliferation identity theft practices. Due to these challenges, scammers are creating sophisticated ways to steal your hard-earned money. We are here to help! This training is designed to help you all recognize the signs of scams and how to protect yourself and your identity during these challenging times.
